Despite a heavy lobbying effort, the Obama administration declined to include autism therapy in final rules this week defining what must be covered by insurers under health care reform.

Located in Glendale, Arizona, Developmental Enrichment Centers (DEC) provides comprehensive life skills training and personal care services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. Tribute to Manuel "Manny" M. Castro

On February 1st, our dear friend and co-worker, Manny Castro, went home to be with the Lord. A memorial service was conducted for Manny on Saturday, February 9th, at 11am, at Faith Bible Church.
Through the years, Manny touched all our lives at DEC in a very special way and his presence will be deeply missed. Though we mourn his passing, we have the full assurance that he is free from the suffering of this earth and in the presence of the Lord. “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Friday Night Fun

DEC offers new program called "Friday Night Fun"

The second Friday of the month from 6:00pm - 10:00pm

Parents and caregivers, enjoy a special night out while we provide a fun filled evening at DEC for your loved one. Activities include: family friendly movies, games, music, pizza, popcorn, and drinks. This is not a DDD sponsored event but is provided solely as a benefit to our clients and their families, while helping us raise much needed additional funding.

Cost $25 includes movie, pizza, popcorn, and drinks for your loved one
