About Us

Mission

We are a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to assisting developmentally disabled children, adults, and seniors, with dementia or related disorders, reach their highest potential in a safe, creative, cheerful, and engaging environment, while treating them as we would our own family members, and provide advocacy and support to families and caregivers.

Vision

Recognizing their unique abilities, we will meet the social and emotional needs of each individual served by Developmental Enrichment Centers through both center and home based services; with a plan to expand services to include a comprehensive enrichment center offering residential services, graduated levels of care, in-house therapy, job skills training, and job placement services.

Core Values

DEC is committed to encouraging all our employees to develop within themselves and exhibit on a daily basis, a set of core values. These core values are built around the "Fruits of the Spirit", a foundation for Christian life principles as defined in the book of Galacians. Development of the following nine attributes is the measure we use to assess all employees.

Funding Sources

Services provided by DEC are primarily funded through a contract with the Arizona Department of Economic Security’s Division of Developmental Disabilities (DES/DDD).
